This was one of those really enjoyable projects that you just know from being on the set, will look great when it’s done. The concept was to shoot dancers forming human letters to spell the anagram WIN, Woman’s Image Network for their annual award ceremony. Working with the dance troop STREB, each move was choreographed on the spot and came together very quickly. We really love the white on black motif and how the dancers move in and out of light.
This was done with essentially no crew and took only a few hours to shoot. It all came together in post. Scott and his team at Valins & Co. did a beautiful job stitching everything together to create a really elegant sequence used for the opening titles of the event.
